The French gardens and the park are around the castle of Chenonceau complete the charm of this wonderful place.
Château de Cheverny, a small and cozy furnished Castle. The Château de Cheverny is renowned for its rich interior and the beautiful collection of art objects and tapestry. The Château de Cheverny inspired Hergé to create Moulinsart castle, in the adventures of Tintin.
To complete the tour, we set off towards the Château de Chambord, the largest castle of the Loire Valley. The Château de Chambord is located in the heart of a 5500-acre park. The construction of the castle of Chambord was commanded by François I, only to serve as a hunting lodge. The Chambord Castle features 128 meters of façade, 440 rooms, 365 fireplaces, and 84 staircases besides the spectacular double-helix staircase.
The castle is composed of a central fortress and four huge towers bastions at the corners. Four rectangular domes on each floor form a cross-shape.
